OctoApp is built with Android in mind and is fully optimized for use on your mobile device. Additionally, OctoApp seamlessly supports Wear OS.

The user interface is divided into three distinct workspaces: Connect, Prepare, Print. In the Connect workspace, users can easily establish a connection between their printer and OctoPrint. Upon printer availability, OctoApp transitions to the Prepare workspace, enabling users to preparare for their next print by heating the hotend, changing filament, or leveling the bed. Once ready to initiate printing, OctoApp presents the Print workspace, providing complete control and customization options for the printing process.

This design approach offers a streamlined and efficient user interface without compromising on functionality.

A feature update is released approximately every 4-8 weeks. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on any desired features.

Note for remote connections: The app does not supply necessary servers. Users can either configure their own server accessible via URL over the internet or utilize plugins like OctoEverywhere, The Spaghetti Detective, or ngrok.
